Participation in the Urban Planning and Health Training Course – Diputació de Barcelona
Marta Rofin took part as a lecturer in the Urban Planning and Health course organized by the Diputació de Barcelona (DIBA) for municipal technical staff.
In her session, Marta presented the studies conducted to identify the relationship between the urban environment and health, defined the main urban health determinants, and shared the results of a comparative analysis of existing urban health assessment tools. She also introduced the Healthy Cities tool, developed to support municipalities in integrating health criteria into urban planning processes.
Her lecture formed part of the training program aimed at strengthening the capacities of local technical teams in promoting healthier urban environments through planning and policy.
