We are excited to announce that Healthy Cities joined the new HorizonEurope project PUREPOLIS which aims to improve pollution management and protect urban health in cities across Europe.
Our first partner meeting took place in Munich where we had the chance to meet the rest of the consortium and start building a strong foundation for working together over the next few years.
What is PUREPOLIS?
PUREPOLIS aims to develop dynamic, innovative, and transferable strategies to combat urban pollution and its impacts on public health. It will bring together 19 partners from around Europe to develop strategies for management of urban air, water, noise, and soil pollution.
How is Healthy Cities involved?
Healthy Cities will contribute to building urban environments that improve people’s health with evidence-based tools, zero pollution measures and dynamic abatement strategies to address urban pollution.
