La importancia de estos determinantes sociales de la salud y su enorme potencial para mejorar la salud de la poblaci\u00f3n han impulsado el inter\u00e9s en desarrollar medidas que incorporen esta perspectiva. Por lo tanto, en el \u00e1mbito de la planificaci\u00f3n urbana, existe una conciencia de la importancia de la planificaci\u00f3n urbana para la salud de la poblaci\u00f3n y de la necesidad de que esta incorpore una perspectiva sanitaria.<\/p>\n<p>Una de las estrategias para incorporar esta perspectiva sobre los determinantes sociales de la salud es lo que se ha denominado prescripci\u00f3n social, es decir, la prescripci\u00f3n por parte de un m\u00e9dico de familia en la consulta de una actividad que se desarrolla en la comunidad.<\/p>\n<p>En el caso de la \u00abprescripci\u00f3n urbana\u00bb, esta se basa en una actividad que puede desarrollarse en la ciudad. En el caso de la \u00abprescripci\u00f3n verde\u00bb, se trata de actividades que se realizan en parques o zonas verdes de la ciudad. Estas actividades han propiciado la conexi\u00f3n y colaboraci\u00f3n entre el sector salud y otros actores del \u00e1mbito social o urbano.<\/p>\n<p>La \u00abreceta urbana\u00bb, en cualquiera de sus versiones (receta verde o receta social), es tendencia en Europa, especialmente en tratamientos de salud mental. De hecho, el abuso de psicof\u00e1rmacos se considera un problema de salud p\u00fablica que se ha disparado durante la pandemia, pero que lleva d\u00e9cadas en aumento. Los datos de consumo de psicof\u00e1rmacos entre la poblaci\u00f3n mayor de 65 a\u00f1os son alarmantes en Espa\u00f1a, de ah\u00ed la importancia de explorar posibles alternativas a la medicina tradicional.<\/p>\n<p>La &quot;prescripci\u00f3n urbana&quot; no es solo asunto de los m\u00e9dicos. Diversos actores participan en ella: m\u00e9dicos, pacientes, organizadores de actividades y el dise\u00f1o de la ciudad, lo que facilita todo el proceso.
