As a result of the Congress on Proximity Planning held in Madrid one year ago, a book has been published that brings together all the papers and projects that were shared during those days.
Roughly 200 authors, professionals from different fields, appear in this publication, to share different approaches and experiences around urban planning, the proximity city, sustainability and health.
Healthy Cities stands as a reference in the design of healthy cities and in the incorporation of citizen participation in the assessment of the urban environment to have a complete understanding of the context and to be able to prioritize strategies according to technical observations and the needs of citizens.
