The primary goal is to integrate a health perspective transversally, turning the city into a space that actively protects and promotes citizen well-being. This Urban Health Diagnosis is an essential first step in identifying how the physical environment influences the health of residents and visitors.
Main Objectives
Utilizing Healthy Cities’ specialized methodology, the project focuses on several strategic pillars:
- Identifying Determinants:
Pinpointing the most relevant urban health determinants for the municipality. - Analyzing Interrelations:
Examining the links between different urban areas and public health. - Strategic Recommendations:
Providing key insights to integrate health into future urban planning.
Methodology and Scope
Through an informed qualitative assessment, we will analyze critical factors such as the quality of public space, accessibility, urban greenery, and social cohesion. This analysis will help minimize environmental risks and enhance existing community assets, ensuring that future urban developments serve as true generators of health.
