Urban Health Quick Scan

The Quick Scan is a practical way to generate early evidence on the links between health and the built environment and to assess urban plans’ potential for generating benefits and economic savings. Using the Healthy Cities Generator methodology, this approach ensures health is integrated from the early stages of planning and allows cities to:

  • Understand their weaknesses and strengths regarding health promotion
  • Identify priority urban actions that respond to local health needs
  • Assess the health impact of their ongoing plans or developments
